Bonita Bay residents are enthusiastic about their lifestyle and embrace all that the community has to offer including golf, boating, bocce, pickelball, life long learning programs, social events and fitness activities. Many families have relocated several times within Bonita Bay, moving from villas to custom homes to high-rises as their needs change. Our residents are active in the Southwest Florida community, serving on the boards of not-for-profit organizations, volunteering their time for a variety of causes and shaping the future of the region.
Gulfshore Life magazine honored the Bonita Bay residents with the Philanthropy Day Outstanding Volunteer Fund Raiser Award in 2010, and the Bonita Bay community has been second only to Publix Super Markets in its annual contribution to the local United Way campaign every year since 2000. The resident campaign serves as a model for United Ways across the nation.
Our residents represent more than 40 states, with Illinois, Ohio and Michigan ranked as the top three home states.
